Service Manager
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of technicians across the country
- Ensure that all servicerelated tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Verify and upload software to electronic devices
- Supervise inventory and ensure that all necessary parts and equipment are available
- Ensure that all service requests are handled promptly and efficiently
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that servicerelated issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Train technicians on new products and services
- Maintain accurate records of all service requests, inventory, and technician performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent support
- Proficient in software verification and uploading
- Experience in inventory management
- Ability to travel nationally to manage team members and visit customer sites
Salary:
R40, R50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
