    Description
    Job Title/Position: DPP Accounting Senior Manager

    This is a senior management position in the DPP Accounting team, responsible for leading and mentoring junior staff members. The role involves providing expert guidance on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other financial reporting matters.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IFRS, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They will also be an excellent communicator, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS for SME and US GAAP.
    • Research and answer accounting queries for KPMG staff and clients.
    • Take a leading role on specific projects within DPP Accounting, with overall responsibility for project management and implementation.
    • Perform pre-issuance reviews of financial statements, including for listed companies and other clients.

    Skills and Attributes Required:
    - Attention to detail
    - Good business writing skills
    - Ability to research and work independently and as part of a team
    - Strong analytical skills
    - Ambition to contribute to building a successful department

    Minimum Requirements:
    - Qualified CA (SA)
    - Good working knowledge of IFRS
    - At least five (5) years post-article experience
    - At least two (2) years people management experience

    Estimated Salary Range: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum
