Job Title:
Graduate (Metallurgical Engineering)

Division (Weir Minerals)

Location (Isando)

Onsite

Purpose of Role:

To represent, promote, sell and support equipment providing value adding solutions, receive customer orders, prepare and follow up on quotes.

This is either directly or through the support of the product teams as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Focus Area: Offer technical support to the branches, including site visits and trouble shooting
  • Focus Area: Understand and interpretation of technical drawings
  • Focus Area: Provide technical support for the product, internally and externally
  • Focus Area: Assist Sales Engineers with all process related queries

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering
  • Should be well verse with engineering calculations
