Revenue Administrator - Cape Town, South Africa - CTICC

The main purpose:
The main purpose of this position is to oversee the contracting process for the CTICC and to ensure the integrity of data entered for events.
Reporting To The:
Revenue Manager
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. System administration (EBMS)
- To manage the release dates for all events.
- Assist with the repricing of events once the rates for the next calendar year has been finalized to ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure that all traces are actioned within 24 hours or as required by the Commercial department.
- Ensure that all booking fields are correct prior to issuing contract documents.
2. Yielding administration**- Research trends within the market for annual venue rental and day conference package pricing for CTICC.
- Conduct research into other venues pricing on a local, national and international basis.
- Building of custom packages as required by the Commercial department for events.
- Provide reports to the Commercial department focusing on the integrity of the data in EBMS.
3. Contract Administration/Legal support
- Responsible for drafting of all standard contract documents for events and issuing this to the sales and events departments.
- Monitor all contracts received to ensure the accuracy of the documents and that all the relevant signatures are obtained both internally and externally.
- Monitor the Sales and Events departments to ensure that all contracts are received prior to the event start date.
- To engage with the GM: Commercial and Business Development to ensure that all contracts are countersigned and uploaded into EBMS and filed correctly
- To select the correct payment plan at the time of submitting the contract prior to submitting the documents.
- Support Sales and Events teams in understanding and providing clarity to clients in terms of contract queries.
4. Statistical information administration & budget administration
- Assist the Operations and Events department with the completion of the actual attendance of events monthly and flag any challenges to the revenue manager
- Submit reports monthly to relevant industry stakeholders
- Assist with various projects that require attendance figures, e.g., Annual report contribution
Minimum Qualifications and experience required**:
- Matric or qualification at NQF 4 level is essential.
- NQF 6 Qualification in Hospitality / Tourism / Events Management or similar is advantageous.
- Computer literacy on various computer software programs (MS Office).
- Minimum 2 years reservations or contract management experience within a hospitality environment.
- Experience dealing with contracts.

- Accurate, with a due attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
