    AESTHETIC & SKIN CARE THERAPIST

    LAKESIDE - Cape Town (Southern Suburbs), Western Cape (South Africa)

    START: A.S.A.P / May 2024

    Report to: Owner / Manager

    TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

    • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
    • Saturday 08:00 - 13:00
    • CLOSED on Sundays

    REMUNERATION & INCOME POTENTIAL:

    • R9,000 BASIC per month
    • Service Commission 10%
    • Retail Commission 5%
    • Performance incentives

    QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    1. South African citizen Or valid working permit for employment in SA
    2. Matric
    3. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds
    4. N-Dip Somatology OR Health & Skin Care Diploma (minimum 2-year qualification)
    5. BONUS: Dermal Aesthetics / Advanced Somatology qualification
    6. Laser / IPL Certified
    7. Must be based within reasonable traveling distance to Lakeside (Westlake / Steenberg / Tokai / Constantia / Muizenberg etc)

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of TWO years in an aesthetic environment performing Somatic and Aesthetic treatments

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

    1. Skilled and confident to perform the following Somatology treatments
    • Skin Care and Facials
    • Body therapies including basic massage
    • Manicure & Pedicure services including Gel Polish application
    • Waxing & Tinting

    2. Competent in the following Aesthetic Services:

    • Laser Hair Removal / IPL
    • Laser Skin Rejuvenation / IPL
    • Advanced Skin Care & Chemical Peels
    • Facial Machines
    • Slimming Therapies

    BONUS:

    • Plasma Jet
    • LED Therapy
    • Radiofrequency /RF body / RF Skin
