    Description

    The costing accountant plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the business by analyzing cost structures and identifying areas for improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Raising stock purchase orders using QDocs to effectively manage inventory levels.
    • Timely costing of shipments, accurately capturing shipment details in Excel templates.
    • Maintaining clear communication with suppliers, resolving any discrepancies between Excel files and purchase orders.

    Costing shipments involves attaching Syspro purchase orders through Landed Cost Tracking (LCT) and ensuring consistency between Syspro and Excel costings.

    Requirements:

    • A Matric or Grade 12 certificate with Accounting.
    • A BCom degree or Accounting diploma is mandatory.
    • A working knowledge of Pastel and Syspro is essential.
    • Intermediate PC literacy and Excel skills are required.
