- A degree in food science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A proven track record with 2 – 3 years' hands-on experience in a ready-to-eat food production setting.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and a commitment to quality assurance procedures.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to embrace overtime, night shifts, and weekends as the operational rhythm demands.
- Spearheading and optimizing our ready-to-eat production processes, ensuring a seamless and consistently high output.
- Enforcing stringent quality control measures to guarantee our ready-to-eat products surpass the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Guiding and nurturing a team of production professionals, cultivating a collaborative and vibrant work environment.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers on groundbreaking new product development (NPD), ensuring the fulfilment of customer expectations.
- Keeping a vigilant eye on inventory levels, orchestrating orders, and steering supply chains to uphold production efficiency.
- Continuously assessing and enhancing production processes, uncovering opportunities for cost savings and quality enhancements.

Our client, based in the Cape Wineland area, is in the food production industry and they are looking to hire a Ready-to-eat Production Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
