    Description

    Adri Mentz together with Dr D Mentz and Dr L Kruger recently established Karoo Health Care, a general health care practice, to serve the community of Graaff-Reinet and surrounding areas with optimal health care.

    Adri Mentz is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our team, in her general physiotherapy practice.

    As a physiotherapist at our facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to help individuals regain mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement evidencebased therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functional outcomes.
    • Provide handson therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to promote selfmanagement
    • Adjust treatment plans according to patient progress to ensure optimal results.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
    Requirements

    • NB
    • Bilingual: Afrikaans & English
    • ONLINE INTERVIEWS ACCESS
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
    • Excellent clinical reasoning skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Pilates and/or yoga training will be advantageous.
    • Clinical experience will be advantageous.
    • Up to date dry needling training.
    • Utilize evidencebased practice to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
