Position:
Factory Manager


Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets and meet quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
• Lead, train, and motivate the factory team, fostering a positive work culture and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including logistics, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth production processes.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents or incidents.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and efficient material usage.
• Budget planning and cost management to achieve financial targets and maintain profitability.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in factory management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team of 40+ staff members and achieving production targets.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
• Problemsolving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure a safe working environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

• East Rand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- factory Management: 5 years (preferred)
