    Key Account Manager

    Our client in Gauteng's Financial Services industry seeks a Key Account Manager to promote the sale of Insurance products to motor dealers. Interacting with all levels of staff and possessing proven selling skills are crucial for growth within each dealership.

    The ideal candidate should have account management experience or knowledge of motor dealer sales operations. They will provide support, resolve queries, and build excellent client relationships, offering professional service on time.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Business Development

    2. Interrogate performance reports for dealers to identify areas of opportunity and develop corrective action plans.
    3. Conduct monthly sales performance reviews with key role players & management at each dealer.
    4. Identify training needs within dealers and conduct coaching & training sessions where required.
    5. Develop aligned strategies for respective franchises/dealers.

    Industry Knowledge

    1. Understanding of the dealer environment dealing with motor dealer value added products.
    2. Training will be provided to understand Bidvest Insurance products and value chains for effective selling and problem-solving.

    Customer Service

    1. Work effectively with internal departments and the dealer network to ensure all queries/service issues/disputes are addressed promptly.

    Management of Customer Relationships

    1. Identify key decision makers and establish positive relationships with each dealer.
    2. Keep dealers informed about Bidvest Insurance/market trends/performance.
    3. Collect competitor information and observe competitor activity to provide feedback.
    4. Coordinate events to promote the partnership and build the brand.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    1. Key Account Management or Territory sales experience is essential.
