    We are a multidisciplinary practice with 60 practitioners and 20 board registered specialists. Our beautiful office is located in the Manchester Unity Building, a significant landmark in Australia's national architectural heritage.

    Your Role: As a General Dental Department Manager, you will be part of a close-knit team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction. You will work alongside another individual in a job share arrangement, enjoying the benefits of collaboration and mutual support.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, provide reassurance, and ensure their comfort from the moment they arrive.
    • Team Leadership: Guide and support over 10 receptionists, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
    • Treatment Planning: Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans, ensuring seamless care for each patient.
    • Administrative Tasks: Manage patient accounts, assist with claims and debt recovery, and maintain accurate records.
    • Training and Development: Mentor new team members, providing patience, kindness, and encouragement as they settle into their roles.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, streamlining tasks and improving overall efficiency.
    • Supportive Environment: Maintain a calm and organized demeanor, even in fast-paced situations, and prioritize open communication with patients and team members.
