    Description

    Job Title: Senior Developer

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting web and mobile development, system integration, and management systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development:
      • Mobile application development using Xamarin/ Maui
      • Web development using MVC / Blazer / JavaScript
      • Integration development and system integration
      • Windows Forms development using Infragistics (nice to have)
      • Develop and maintain programs according to requirements
      • Design and develop databases as required
      • Create process flows and technical specifications
      • Communicate with clients and service providers to establish technical requirements and provide feedback on progress internally and externally
    • Analysis and Design:
      • Develop process maps in conjunction with Business Operations to minimize the impact of implementations
    • Customer and Operations Support:
      • Develop and implement new and ad-hoc requirements from customers within an acceptable timeframe
      • Interact with users on a continual basis to establish new requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
    • 6+ years of development experience

    Requirements:

    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
      • Microsoft Visual Studio development
      • Microsoft DevOps (TFS)
      • Excellent knowledge of C#
      • Web services and RESTful APIs
      • Windows Services
      • Databases (MS SQL databases) and TSQL experience
      • Microsoft SSRS
      • Test Driven Development
      • Microsoft Azure (nice to have)
    • Soft Skills:
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Attention to detail
      • Good time management and organisational skills
      • Flair for problem-solving and displaying initiative
      • Ability to multitask
      • Excellent analytical skills
      • Able to work with a team of developers

    Salary:

    R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum (estimated based on location and industry standards)
