Description

Duties/Pligte

Collecting, analysing and writing specifications (functional and nonfunctional) and business cases (when required);
Performing quality assurance reviews on requirements or other outputs;
Working in groups and teams;
Facilitating analysis and requirements workshops;
Engaging in proactive problemsolving;
Interacting with administrative, academic and technical roleplayers;
Assisting with training, project management, change management and specification reviews;
Working on projects that can involve multiple systems and processes with interfaces to external and internal projects, as well as on ssmall to medium risk projects;
Owning and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Constantly searching for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

Degree in Information Science, Computer Science or a related field, or a certified professional business analyst;
At least five years' practical experience as a business analyst;
Three or more years' experience of working in a higher education institution with exposure to the workings of a university;
Proven skills in and knowledge of:

o Modelling and analytical tools and methodologies;

o Written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge and understanding of multiple business areas and systems;
Proven knowledge of information systems and technology in order to be able to interpret technology for business users and business needs for technologists;
Personal attributes:
