    Creditors Clerk Job Description

    The Creditors Clerk is responsible for managing creditors accounts, ensuring timely receipt of statements and invoices, and maintaining a good relationship with suppliers.

    • Interact with suppliers to ensure that statements and invoices are received on time.
    • Capture invoices to meet month-end deadlines.
    • Verify that invoices and statements comply with SARS standards.
    • Accurately and timely perform reconciliations.
    • Resolve queries on accounts with no queries older than 30 days.
    • Assist in the onboarding of new suppliers.
    • Prepare month-end supplier accruals.
    • Contribute to the implementation of a paperless payment process.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Accounting qualification (advantageous)
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • 3-4 years' experience in a financial environment
    • Statistical skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving ability

    Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
