    Our Receptionist position at the Century City Medical Centre in Cape Town focuses on providing professional customer service by facilitating patient administration processes.

    As a receptionist, you will create an environment that enables us to fulfill our purpose. You will provide quality customer service aligned with our business strategy and perform administrative and payment functions.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional telephone services in patient care.
    • Assist patients in accurately completing forms and document all information according to internal policies and procedures.
    • Manage the patient journey from booking to payment on our system.
    • Direct customers to the appropriate location, services, or professionals.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality according to POPIA.
    • Ensure the reception area is always neat and tidy.
    • Refer emergency cases to the nurse's station according to protocol.
    • Assist with basic account queries and escalate as necessary.
    • Collect co-payments and account balances according to our policies and procedures.
    • Execute daily cash-up and banking processes.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a customer-focused service environment, such as reception, is advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency is required.
    • Experience with GoodX systems is advantageous.
