POSITION:
Data Analyst

AREA:
Sandton (Remote Position)

Please note that this is a 1Year contract position (Renewable)
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our client in Johannesburg, this will be a fully remote position 12month renewable contract

Experience

Data Analyst / SQL Engineer required to implement and maintain solutions including data sourcing, data transformation using SQL
This role will cover data extraction and data manipulation
Investigate, design and implementation of improvements on existing processes
Build data systems (ETL) and pipelines with proper data governance in line with the overall organisational strategy

Requirements:

Solid T-SQL Experience (Nonnegotiable)
National Diploma: Information Technology / BSc in Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science
Solid experience in SQL, Visual Studio, SSIS and Azure

MCSE Certificate

Data Management or Business Intelligence
SQL
Data Profiling (profile source data to enable data lifecycle source to target mapping)
Data Migration
Teradata
Cobol copybook
Oracle
Sybase

Moving text and files
SAS
