FACILITATOR/ASSESSOR


As the facilitator and assessor, it is your responsibility to ensure that the learners understand the concepts of the training, complete their Work Books and Logbooks in class/online, and understand what is expected of them in completing their Practical Implementations.

Must be familiar/experienced with online training platforms and technologies to host virtual classroom sessions.

You must be a registered Assessor at Agri Seta for Mixed Faming. Proof of registration must be attached with your CV.


We are looking for individuals who are willing to go above and beyond as our company embarks on expanding our ever growing national footprint.

Individuals suitable for this position must have strong relationships within the community and will be reacquired to be very much involved in sourcing training venues in the area as well as the learnership enrolment of unemployed youth living with a disability in your area.


It is your duty to assess the learners during training and to ensure that they correct/remediate their work and are competent.


The following duties also form part of what is expected from a facilitator within the organisation:

  • Build lasting relationships with community leaders
  • Source and acquire training venues in your community
  • Recruit unemployed youth living with a disability within the community to be enrolled on learnerships.
  • Assist learners throughout the enrolment process including, submitting and signing of enrolment documentation, contacting learners
  • Create an understanding of the business and working environment
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Create an understanding of learning methodologies appropriate to the business environment and provide specialized input in the development of delivery of training material
  • Where necessary, guide the learners to complete the Practical Implementation in the classroom.
  • Familiarise, interpret and become an expert in the products and processes in order to facilitate training as it relates to operational procedures
  • Relay training material developed through experiential learning through the appropriate learning methodologies
  • Review training for relevance, best for fit and the training audience
  • Suggest and assist with the change in Learning material where appropriate
  • Manage learning circles, communication plans and learning aids to embed learning
  • Ensuring the client is always treated with respect
  • To ensure that the learning material is transferred to the learners within the expected time period
  • All communication is transparent
  • Continuous feedback given to the learners & assistance provided where necessary
  • Accurate and detailed feedback provided to the management of Kukhula
  • Ensuring the learner's files are completed successfully & all learners are competent
  • Ensure all Workbooks are completed and marked within the allocated time period
  • Assisting learner with the Workplace Evidence to ensure competency of all learners
  • Collection of files from the learner's on the stipulated timeframes
  • Portfolio of Evidence Building days scheduled to guide learners and ensure competency throughout the programme.

The following deadlines must be adhered to:

  • Send attendance registers by 09:00 on the day of training to Projects
  • Follow the Project Plans and adhere to deadlines.
  • Submit completed Modules for Internal Moderation as per deadlines provided.
  • Send the Assessment reports for each learner trained that week, by last day of the training week.

Period:

12 months

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:


  • Facilitation: 2 years (preferred)
