We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cape Town warehouse.

Duties:

• Supervise and manage the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of stock in accordance with FIFO principles and batch control.
• Monitor the loading of delivery and depot vehicles to maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse assistants and receiving & dispatch controllers.
• Manage inventory in the CT Depot through cyclical stock takes and efficient stock rotation.
• Ensure the hygiene of all products in the depot aligns with BU requirements.
• Comply with all Food Safety and ISO regulations.
• Pick orders accurately for delivery.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports for the CT depot manager.
• Receive and store stock from SCTs efficiently.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of Durban and JHB SCTs in line with agreed product requirements.
• Load and offload import and export containers for the CT warehouse.
• Oversee all relevant paperwork in compliance with work instructions, including picking slips.
• Manage the CHEP account and pallets for the CT depot.
• Process sample issuing and no-charge invoices to the lab for quality testing/customers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across all warehouses.
• Assist in driving operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum National Diploma / Degree.
• Fluent English and isiXhosa language skills.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Prior knowledge of Quality, Food Safety, and Safety Systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of cold chain supply is an asset.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
