Have you got the guts to tackle GBV with social media campaigns?
A multi-award winning GBV NPO is looking for an in-office, experienced social media manager.


Essential duties:

Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers.
Curate and manage all published content (images, video and written).
Monitor, listen and respond to users in an empathetic way while encouraging real-time contact.
Compile reports for management showing results and impact.
Become an advocate for the company in the social media space, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Demonstrate an ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.


Required:

Must have a clear understanding of the rape and abuse crisis in South Africa.
3-5 years experience is essential.
Based in Sandton Central.
Strict working hours of 8-5 plus every second Saturday.
Exhibit and ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to an analytical side.
Able to demonstrate why ideas are analytically sound.
Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Linked in etc).
Excellent writing, typing and language skills.
Adherence to the requirements is essential.
