    The Senior Field Service Technician oversees the skilled performance of electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance tasks on crane-related equipment.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Detects mechanical and electrical faults using specialized tooling and equipment.
    • Repairs and maintains components and equipment according to provided instructions.
    • Follows work assignments and determines the extent of needed repairs.
    • Performs regular checks and services, detecting possible faults and flaws in affected equipment.
    • Repairs or replaces sections or parts as required, improvising solutions when necessary.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Travels to various sites, often in remote areas, at irregular hours.
    • Maintains a high level of physical health and fitness.
    • Holds a valid driver's license at all times.
    • Adheres to health and safety legislation.
    • Assists with spare parts identification and supports other divisions as needed.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Matric certification, Trade-tested Earthmoving Mechanic (EME), or equivalent experience/training in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving. A minimum of 4-5 years related experience is required.
