A wellknown and established company providing specialty chemicals into the chemical and mining industry requires the above to work closely with the external sales team as well as engineering and project teams to ensure that customers are delivered their chemical raw materials timeously.

Minimum requirements for the role:

Previous experience having worked within an internal sales or related role ideally working within the mining or chemical or engineering or related industries is preferred.
Computer literacy in MS Office is essential.
Good planning and execution skills.
Previous experience having worked on Pastel or a related accounting or ERP System is preferred.
Must have excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Managing customers within the chemical manufacturing and mining industry supporting the external key accounts sales managers.
Quoting prospective customers across all product ranges and providing product information where needed.
Receiving and processing orders on Pastel and Excel to ensure delivery and collection expectations for house account customers are met.
Maintaining backorders and forwarding orders on Pastel on a daily basis.
Monitoring of stock levels to meet customer's needs.
Assisting with quotes and monthly pricing when needed.
Following up with customers with regards to previous days deliveries to ensure customer service and on time in full deliveries.
Communicating with customers with regards to order status, stock availability pricing etc.
Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries.
Ensuring external sales are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts.
