Accountable for:
- Capturing buyingrelated data on the system.
- Placing orders, processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Handling administrative and data queries from vendors, suppliers, DC's, and sales team.
- Quality checking all information inputted and captured.
- Filing of documents/information.
- Capturing of data accurately and timeously.
- Requesting supplier and promotion performance reports from systems as requested by Buyers.
- Providing a secretarial service to Buyers.
- Assisting the buying team with the ecommerce offering, including sales, the selection of the online product range and the merchandising and promotion of this range.
- Perform product data analysis, competitor and market research and recommend merchandising solutions to achieve customer experience and campaign objectives, as well as executing said solution.
- Ensure digital channels are rich with content and enable customers to easily discover products within the catalogue.
- Assist with the product catalogue and work with the product coordination teams to ensure the integrity of the product catalogue is maintained at all times.
- Work closely with the buying and marketing teams in setting up promotions which maximise sales.
- Report on predetermined KPI's whereby the department and online site will be measured.

- Experience
Essential
- 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity or role, executing administrative functions and support related to the buying, ecommerce or planning process.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Exposure to SAP Buying / Retail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 with welldeveloped excel skills to prepare detailed spreadsheets using formulas
