    Job Summary

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax submissions, as well as providing tax planning advice to clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns (e.g. VAT, PAYE, CIT) on behalf of clients.
    • Ensure Compliance: Verify compliance with tax laws, regulations, and deadlines to minimize penalties and interest.
    • Tax Planning: Assist clients with tax planning strategies and provide advisory services on tax implications of business decisions.
    • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records for clients.
    • Communication: Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve any tax-related issues.
    • Other: Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

    Salary: A competitive salary of approximately R750,000 per annum is offered, taking into account the cost of living in Cape Town and industry standards.
