_Our client a well-established boutique hotel is urgently looking to employ an experienced Rooms Reservations Manager_

_Location:
Franschhoek, Western Cape_

_Requirements:
_
- _ Proven work experience with at least 3 -4 years experience as an Accommodation Reservationist or in a similar position at a 4* or 5* property._
- _ Must be fluent in English_
- _ Must be ready for a new challenge in life and long-term involvement in his/her future job._
- _ Should be able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to lead and direct a team._
- _ Must exhibit excellent knowledge of guest service._

_ Responsibilities:
_
- _ Manages and actions the reservation functions for the hotel ensuring all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner._
- _ Achieving customer satisfaction and room revenue goals while taking guests through the booking process._
- _ Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, or other forms of inquiries through the property management software._
- _ Creates and maintains reservation records and manages the reservations cycle._
- _ Additional duties include preparing the list of expected arrivals for the front office, assisting in preregistration activities when appropriate, and processing advance reservation deposits. _
- _This position will also manage the accommodation department to ensure the highest standards are maintained. _
- _Assist the accommodation Supervisor when needed or when on off days to oversee the housekeeping department and assist with the check-in and check-out of guests._
