    Job Purpose

    As a Scheduling / Production Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the production planning team by managing schedules, tracking inventory, maintaining order timelines, and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, update, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
    • Collaborate with the Production Manager to prioritize work orders and manage resource allocation.
    • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels in ERP or scheduling systems.
    • Create and distribute regular reports on production progress and material status.
    • Identify and recommend process improvements for scheduling and material planning.
    • Assist with implementing planning software updates or new scheduling techniques.

    Requirements

    • Matric required; a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or related field is a plus.
    • 1-2 years of experience in production scheduling, material planning, or administrative support in manufacturing.
    • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software is advantageous.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
    • Proactive and resourceful with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
