Description

Duties:


  • Identify key controls and test adequacy and effectiveness for higher risk areas identified in each process
  • Monitor the timely implementation of the recommendations in the audit reports
  • Identify areas of risk within the organisation and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks
  • Assessing compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
  • Prepare draft audit reports for discussion with business
  • Prepare audit planning documents
  • Conducting ad
- hoc store compliance and other reviews whilst maintaining independence

  • Mapping of processes to evaluate effectiveness of the control environment

Job Experience & Skills Required:


Qualifications:


  • Matric
  • BCom Accounting / BCom Internal Auditing
  • Studying toward CIA

Experience:


  • 1 to 2 years work experience in a similar role
  • Passed part 1 of IIA exam
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Work, Excel and Visio

  • Following instructions and procedures
