Description
A growing business in the accommodation and Lodge sector requires an experienced Operations manager. The successful Lodge Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our prestigious lodge.


As the Lodge Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of all departments and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the lodge's goals and objectives

Oversee and coordinate all lodge operations, including accommodation, food and beverage services, housekeeping, and maintenance

  • Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they meet high service standards and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively
  • Manage budgets and control expenses to maximize profitability without compromising quality
  • Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of sufficient supplies and equipment
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards to create a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns to attract new guests and build brand loyaltyRequirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in lodge or hotel management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams in a hospitality setting Proficient in industryspecific software and technology
Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and industry trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Conversation Zulu is a must
Unendorsed drivers' licence and Own roadworthy vehicle is a must
R4000 Petrol Allowance
