the international market. The position will be based in Cullinan.

Role Purpose:
Reporting to and supporting the Manager: Security Guarding, this role will provide professional and efficient

technical training and development services in the Security Discipline and ensure the implementation and maintenance of training
interventions according to organisational needs. Ensure compliance with relevant Legal Requirement pertaining to the Security
Environment.


Responsibilities:

Determine the training requirements of security personnel and draft a training plan to ensure all personnel are trained
accordingly.

Ensure timely execution of the training plan.

Train, evaluate and assess all security personnel, as well as provide on-the-job training in line with approved training standards
and practices - with specific reference to training personnel on handling industrial action, illegal mining activities and special
operations.

Keep record of training conducted according to company standards.

Assist in standardising procedures, practices, drills, dress-code and radio communication frequencies and channels within the
Petra Group.

Develop, implement, maintain and audit learning material, methods and assessment tools for security personnel, and propose
improvements where required.

Ensure legal compliance with relevant industry bodies (SETA's) and training related legislation.

Coordinate training with external training providers where necessary.

Establish and maintain good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system with the Security
Stakeholders.

Take cognisance of and adhere to Company policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manage and report on non
compliance issues.

Model behaviour that is consistent with the Company Safety, Health and Environment Vision and Values. Manage and report

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma in Security Management or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification.

National Certificate:
Occupational Directed ETDP Level 4.

PSIRA Grade B.

Conduct Outcomes Based Assessment.

Firearm proficiency for business purpose

5 years' experience in a Security environment.

3 years' experience in Security training.

Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate).

Valid driver's license.**
Technical Competencies:
Know and understand the policies and procedures and COPs of the company regarding training and development.

Design outcomes based assessment tools.

Develop training programmes according to the relevant legislation and procedures.

Demonstrate knowledge and skill in conducting training sessions.

Demonstrate knowledge and skill in training related system design and process flow activities.

Analyse training methods and materials and identify opportunities for improvement.
