    Description

    Job Title: Tender Engineer

    We are seeking a dynamic BTech/BSc qualified engineer with exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, thorough knowledge of commercial terms, and background experience in water and wastewater treatment and advanced treatment processes to take on the key role of TENDER ENGINEER.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Role Responsibilities:

    • Interpret and implement client requirements and specifications.
    • Develop accurate financial and commercial models to determine competitive and viable pricing structures for all projects.
    • Prepare competitive tenders to win projects while enabling efficient plant operation, maintenance, and financial objectives.
    • Collaborate with services execution divisions to determine life cycle costs for combined on-site services and EPC of new water treatment plants.
    • Assist services management in establishing and improving systems and procedures for effective service delivery.
    • Process design development through careful selection of treatment technologies, providing cost-effective solutions while ensuring technical compliance.
    • Support commissioning of new water treatment plants, including operating and maintenance contracts.
    • Site establishment, commencement, and initial monitoring of new on-site service projects.
    • Preparation of technical specifications for equipment requests.
    • Technical assistance and evaluation of vendor proposals.
    • Engineering design deliverables for tenders and studies, including technical and process descriptions.
    • Participation in HAZOP/HAZAN studies and value engineering exercises.

    Required Experience & Qualifications

    • BSc/BTech Engineering qualification.
    • Previous work experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
    • Experience in advanced treatment processes.
    • Proficiency in Afrikaans.
    • Thorough knowledge of commercial terms.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Remuneration Package

    Market-related based on experience.
