    Job Description:

    We seek a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Durban North. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations through effective scheduling and coordination.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, update, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
    • Collaborate with the Production Manager to prioritize work orders and manage resource allocation.

    Data Entry & Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels in ERP or scheduling systems.
    • Create and distribute regular reports on production progress and material status.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and recommend process improvements for scheduling and material planning.
    • Assist with implementing planning software updates or new scheduling techniques.

    Requirements:

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • A Matric certificate; a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or a related field is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in production scheduling, material planning, or administrative support in manufacturing.
    • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software is advantageous.

    Skills:

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
