responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Manager will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:

• Manage and lead the accounts team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and achievement of our financial goals.
• Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, supplier management, and payment planning.
• Collaborate with the accounts and project teams to resolve payment and invoice queries.
• Implement and maintain best practices, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the accounts payable process.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal workflow and policies.
• Manage and monitor the supplier budget in line with cash flow to optimise working capital management.
• Perform periodic financial analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and costsaving opportunities.
• Review and approve supplier payments and ensure there is efficient and clear communication to suppliers.
• Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management, supporting decisionmaking.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors and agree payment terms.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and automation.

This is a part-time position on an initial six-month contract.
