    RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a skilled Millwright to join their team in Cape Town. Our client is a leading packaging company, and the Millwright will be responsible in ensuring the smooth operation of their machinery and equipment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance on packaging machinery and equipment
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
    • Repair or replace defective parts
    • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
    • Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
    • Keep accurate maintenance records

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Millwright in the packaging industry
    • Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
    • Experience with PLCs and automation systems
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Attention to detail and quality
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

    Benefits

    • Salary: R150K/yr - R200K/yr, negotiable
