    Job Overview

        As a Key Account Manager at gp-consult, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients to drive business growth and ensure their satisfaction.

    Duties & Responsibilities

        Your primary purpose of the job will be:

    • Develop trust-based relationships with major clients to prevent them from turning to competitors;
    • Gain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements;
    • Continuously propose solutions that meet customer objectives to expand existing customer relationships;
    • Ensure timely delivery of correct products and services to customers;
    • Act as the communication link between key customers and internal teams;
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain trust;
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary;
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters related to your accounts;
    • Conduct research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities;
    • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs;
    • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency;
    • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and waste management solutions;
    • Manage all existing contracts;
    • Manage all key accounts;
    • Present and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual client reviews.

    Requirements and Skills

        To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs;
    • Proven ability to manage multiple account projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail;
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels;
    • Excellent organizational skills;
    • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation;
    • Clear communication of progress to internal and external stakeholders;
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Main Tasks (Day to Day Sales Management)

        Key tasks in this role include:

    • Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations;
    • Analyzing client data to provide valuable feedback and propose solutions;
    • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback;
    • Being highly goal-oriented, assertive, and a hands-on problem solver;
    • Analyzing and drawing inferences from data.

    Duties / Tasks

        Additional duties and tasks include:

    • Weekly planning and reporting of key client meetings and feedback;
    • Yearly forecasting of new developing key accounts based on sales potentials;
    • Adding existing clients to key account structure;
    • Building monthly reports from available data of web portal;
    • Signing off and presentation of monthly reports done by Aftersales department;
    • Liaising with Sustainability department on new projects and project timelines.

    Package & Remuneration

        The remuneration package includes R 35,000 - R 45,000 per month.
