Description

The HR, Recruitment and Crewing Administrator is responsible to the Group HR Manager for HR generalist duties including recruitment and selection for onshore and offshore personnel.

HR / Marine Crew Administrator who has strong recruitment ability and who understands the documentations/qualifications for nautical crew. Your interactions would also extend to the company's Italian Vessel Management Partner, COO and Technical Superintendent. This would also include the local recruitment partners.


SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, Security)

  • Ensure compliance with Group Safety & Security policies

Production:


  • Manage Recruitment process for Onshore & Offshore Personnel
  • Ensure that recruitment is in line with Employment Equity plans currently in force
  • Draft job advertisements for Internal and External job adverts
  • Build & maintain Marine Crew database
  • Liaise with Vessel Management Partner regarding safe manning of vessels and placement of Local Marine Crew
  • Liaise with Recruitment Agencies regarding Vacancies & Project Personnel
  • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
  • Ensure that all staff files are up to date and that all relevant and valid documentation is on record
  • Assisting with Midyear & Yearend Performance appraisals
  • Ensure that vessels submit weekly HSE reports
  • Ensure vessels submit POBs at every crew change
  • Ad-Hoc HR/Admin duties as directed by Group HRM

Reporting:


  • Weekly Updates on Recruitment processes
  • HR reporting as required

Requirements:


  • HR Qualification
  • Matric
  • 3 Years as a HR Generalist
  • 3 years in Recruitment & Selection
