- Must be a Graduate B Eng (Civils) or B Tech (Civil Eng)
- Must be registered as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng. (ECSA Registration certificate required)
- Professionally registered with ECSA prior to 2010
- Minimum 12 years' technical experience and 4 years' team leadership experience (most of which in a consulting engineering firm)
- Infrastructure design
- Roads, earthworks, storm water and sewer - essential
- Storm water management
- Pump station design (both sewer and water supply) desirable
- Experience with municipal, housing infrastructure, and industrial engineering;
- Proficient in use of MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential) and IDAS an advantage
- Knowledgeable in Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM or similar an advantage
- Knowledgeable in eThekwini standards an advantage
