    Description

    Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with the head office in Durban, and branches around SA and Africa. The company is looking for a vibrant and dynamic young individual to join their civil engineering team within their Durban branch.


    The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a Graduate B Eng (Civils) or B Tech (Civil Eng)
    • Must be registered as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng. (ECSA Registration certificate required)
    • Professionally registered with ECSA prior to 2010
    • Minimum 12 years' technical experience and 4 years' team leadership experience (most of which in a consulting engineering firm)

    Experience in:

    • Infrastructure design
    • Roads, earthworks, storm water and sewer - essential
    • Storm water management
    • Pump station design (both sewer and water supply) desirable
    • Experience with municipal, housing infrastructure, and industrial engineering;
    • Proficient in use of MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential) and IDAS an advantage
    • Knowledgeable in Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM or similar an advantage
    • Knowledgeable in eThekwini standards an advantage

    • Confident, with strong interaction / people skills
    • Dynamic and driven – yet humble

    • Team player

    Start date: 1 April 2024 or sooner if possible.

    Remuneration: Market-related; dependent on qualifications, experience and skill set
