About Us
Effer Ventures is an operationally-heavy investment business. The group is currently focused on rolling up staffing and recruitment businesses in the UK.
The model is to drive digitalisation and operational efficiency across the business, leading to an economies-of-scale-driven growth for each of the operating companies.
We currently have 3 operating companies that we have acquired into the group, and are looking to grow and scale both organically within these operating companies and through further acquisitions.
We are a global business, with offices in London, Cape Town and India.We have tripled in size over the last 12 months and, to cement our increasing reputation and position in the market, we are looking to add talent to our team to assist with our aggressive growth objectives for 2023.
The Role
We are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail, is highly organised, has an analytical mind and an unquenchable thirst to learn.
Whilst this role is process-driven, there may be some client communications and the ideal person has the ability to communicate clearly and the wherewithal to give our clients good customer service.
In a fast-growing, team-based environment, it is important that everyone understands that flexibility and dynamism are a necessity.On a day-to-day basis, employees are asked to go outside of their job roles and pitch in to help - a 'get your hands dirty' attitude is crucial.
You
University Graduate with a relevant qualification (eg BCom)
Strong numerical skills and know your way around Microsoft Excel/Google sheets
Enthusiastic to learn more about finance, with eyes on a next formal qualification
Comfortable in operating systems
Process-oriented and a desire to contribute to driving process efficiency
Strong communication skills and confidence to use them both in a written and verbal context
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Confident, proactive, and positive outlook

The Package
Basic Salary; R14-20k per month
Bonus; Quarterly bonus scheme
Paid for formal qualifications
Subsidised transport to & from the office
