Controller - Camperdown, South Africa - Pronel Personnel
Description
Duties:
- Daily monitoring and tracking of the company fleet throughout South Africa.
- Location tracking of all company trucks.
- Monitoring of in and outbound cameras for near misses, reckless driving, driver noncompliance.
- Reporting driver noncompliance to Human Resources.
- Accurate and on time reporting for all Loaded, Offload and Intransit cargo.
- Monitor regular tyre checks carried out by drivers.
- Ensure pretrip inspections are carried out by drivers.
- Monitor and enforce start and stop driving times in line with the company rule.
- Liaise with drivers in the event of protest action or accident enroute.
- Adjust driver sleep times and sleep locations.
- Provides ondemand detailed reports of vehicle locations and times from the GPS database.
- Update Journey Man if routes are incorrect.
- Accurate handover with other Controllers during shift change
Requirements:
- Grade 1
- Knowledge of South African Travel routes
- Excellent excel skills
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
Working hours:
As per operational requirements 195 hours per month.
