Permanent (21 days on, 7 days off work cycle)
A private Game Reserve in Tzaneen (Limpopo Province) is looking for a Fleet Manager to join their Team. If successful you will be working for one of the best natural Game Reserves in the world.


Minimum Requirements:

Valid RSA Driver's License and PDP
First Aid Certificate and experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience as an auto mechanic
Experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignment to replacement cycling, from personal use to accident reporting
Experience in price, spec, and purchase or lease vehicles
Understand and track total cost of ownership (TCO)
Mature and responsible
Well spoken, well-groomed and presentable
Strong leadership capabilities
Positive attitude and approach toward team work
Ability take initiative and problem solve
Passionate and pro-active towards personal growth and training
Sober Habits, NO DRUGS
No criminal record


Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct supervision and evaluating the work of employees as a first-line supervisor
Fleet Manager is responsible in deciding whether a vehicle makes environmental standards, whether a vehicle should be assigned to better meet the needs of the company
Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition
Establish and monitor purchasing, operational and replacement strategies and practices for most cost effective operation
Develop and implement training modules for vehicles and equipment use and care
Oversees the fuelling stations and fuel stock
Responsible for asset register for the workshop department
Responsible for all aspects of operation for a full-fledged vehicle maintenance facility and equipment repair shop
All administrative duties pertaining to the workshop department
Allocation of airport transfers & guest activity
Responsible for the safety of department employees in the maintenance workshop
Ensure unit compliance with all government laws and regulations related to vehicle repair workshop operations and vehicle and mobile equipment use and care
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
The position involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying heavy material, standing up to eight hours each day, working in all weather conditions
Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office
