    Job Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12) degree is required.
    • A minimum of eight years of post-qualification experience in building services, including medical installations, is necessary.
    • Certification in the following software packages – AutoCAD, Microstation, REVIT MEP – is mandatory.
    • Experience with Autodesk Navisworks and BIM360 is an advantage.
    • Registration as a member of the South African Institute of Draughting is required.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist in conceptual design development and drawing, translate specifications and designs into engineering drawings to be issued for construction.
    • In conjunction with the engineer produce functional, economical and technically correct drawings.
    • Provide the engineer with preliminary drawings with initial conceptual information for further refinement.
    • Manage compliance with the ISO 9001 quality system, drawing standards and control / filing etc.
    • Ensure coordination/integration with other engineering disciplines and architectural services, clash analysis etc.
    • Responsible for electronic filing, administration and issue, including updates and revisions etc.

    Remuneration:

    Negotiable and based on the candidate's qualifications and years of relevant experience.

    Commencement Date:

    As soon as possible.
