    Senior Sales Consultant (Medical Experience)

    About the Job

    As a Sales Consultant in our client's medical division, your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with existing key healthcare professionals (HCPs), specifically Ophthalmologists, Wound Care Practitioners, and Periodontists where applicable at targeted hospitals, clinics, and practices, as well as educating and onboarding new key HCPs.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Biologics products and services offered by Savageone Pty Ltd. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, competitors, and trends.
    2. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with targeted Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Ophthalmologists, Wound Care Practitioners, and Periodontists where applicable at targeted hospitals, clinics, and practices.
    3. Sales and Marketing Strategies: Develop effective sales and marketing strategies to promote Biologics products and services. Collaborate with the team and line manager to create compelling materials, presentations, and campaigns.
    4. Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach in sales interactions, understanding unique challenges faced by each HCP and offering tailored solutions.
    5. Market Research: Continuously conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use market insights to tailor your sales approach and stay ahead in the market.
    6. Sales Targets: Work towards achieving or exceeding sales targets set by Savageone Pty Ltd. Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as necessary to meet goals.
    7. Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any issues or concerns raised by HCPs. Maintain open lines of communication to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

    Requirements

    1. Minimum 2 years in-field Sales Consultant experience in a medical-related field.
    2. Preferred: Have pre-existing relationships with Ophthalmologists.
    3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    4. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively.
    6. Keen analytical skills to track return on investment and make informed decisions.

    Additional Responsibilities

    1. Provide in-service training to hospital staff on relevant wards and theatres on promoted products.
    2. Travel locally to call on HCPs in regions within and outside South Africa.
