Join a successful client in the construction industry as an Assistant Accountant reporting into the Financial Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Bank Statement process receipts and payments
  • Cashbook
  • Manage concur expense claims to ensure this is correct.
  • Update General ledger expense account Recons
  • Compile and prepare recons for local creditors Payments
  • Compile and prepare recons for international payments intercompany accounts
  • Load all local AP payments
  • Clearing Vat Account and preparation of Vat Return payment
  • Reconciling and posting all corporate cards
  • Manage and control entire fixed Asset Register
  • Manage and control short term insurance of all assets
  • Posting of all Accruals
  • Posting of all prepayments if any
  • Send / Receive Intercompany Confirmation
  • Prepare Balance sheet Recons

Requirements:


  • Financial Qualification (BCom / BTech)
  • 2 Years experience
  • Pastel Partner (advantageous)
