    We are seeking a dependable Inventory Management Specialist with experience in automotive components or heavy machinery to become a vital part of our team.

    The selected candidate will be tasked with executing safe and efficient operations in accordance with company protocols, collaborating closely with procurement to place orders and enhance inventory processes.

    This role includes monitoring stock levels to ensure that supplies meet customer demand effectively.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory using data processing systems.
    • Receiving shipments, verifying contents, and organizing goods in the storage area.
    • Conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining organization within the storage area.
    • Ensuring safety and security in the storage environment while utilizing transport equipment appropriately.
    • Performing regular cycle counts and annual stock assessments.
    • Overseeing the safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
    • Coordinating the distribution of parts to various sites and technicians.
    • Keeping detailed records of parts requests from technicians and branches, and liaising with procurement for orders when stock is unavailable.
    • Delivering exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Providing weekly updates on stock levels, lead times, expected deliveries, and any issues to relevant departments.
    • Carrying out additional duties as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the department and company.
    • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the inventory management system.
    • Implementing control measures to address inaccuracies and discrepancies effectively.
    Requirements

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Experience and knowledge of heavy equipment machinery parts.
    • Familiarity with inventory systems for scheduling and dispatch operations.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a business service context.
    • Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
    • Engagement in the development and enhancement of safety and environmental performance.
    • Strong clerical and organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and personnel.
    • Complex problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • Effective interpersonal skills for communication with relevant departments.
    • Time management proficiency.
    • Adaptability and flexibility with a strong capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability to analyze stock levels and maintain detailed records of inventory transactions.
