Description
Our company is looking for a Production Clerk
As a production clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that the information is entered into and extracted from the system are done in a timely and effective manner, while ensuring highest degree of data entry accuracy.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry/capture.
- Check data such as production sheets for accuracy, verify data is correct and investigate further or obtain further information as required if documentation is incomplete.
- Update data and discard unnecessary/duplicated documents.
- Combine and rearrange data as required.
- Capture the data onto the prescribed file, format or document.
- Correctly store and maintain documents in the designated location.
- Compile reports and analysis of the data captured as per the requirements of production/management.
- Analyse information and point out variations and participate in problem solving initiatives.
- Compile 5's Audits
- Obtain reports for inspection
- Prepare and present information to management in a meaningful manner.
- Assist with/conduct visual management board training.
- Technical Assistance with PER4MA and line control unit.
- Ensure PER4MA reports have details of jobs/products being run and changeovers.
- Ensure that the PER4MA daily data is given to the supervisors/VDU (Visual Display Units/Boards) recorders timeously.
- Investigate with supervisors to determine the reason(s) for non performance prior to presenting PER4MA reports to management.
- Validate daily score and then do a time and motion study - including supporting documentation.
- Obtain approval of the time and motion score schedule from management and update the PER4MA system.
- Printing of barcode scan tickets for the scanning department.
- Assist with printing and lamination of visuals.
- Ensure the administrative function of the department is maintained and all documentation is filed in a systematic manner.
- Compile and record data for industrial establishment to prepare records and reports on the volume of production.
- Calculates factors, such as quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of waste, frequency of defects / rejects
- Compile production reports on data compiled, which are tabulated and computerized.
- Maintain files and documents used and prepared.
- Compiles from detailed production sheets or job cards as a guideline for the manufacturing of a product

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
R6, R8,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cornubia Industrial, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
