My client, a wholesale nursery / grower is seeking to employ a maintenance supervisor to report to the maintenance manager and be responsible for running the workshop and general maintenance of the growing tunnels, irrigation, automotive equipment as well as facilities and gardens.

Responsibilities:


  • Managing a team of maintenance workers
  • Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of all facilities and agricultural equipment
  • Liaising with contractors by obtaining quotations,
  • Liaising with insurance providers and other service providers to ensure services are delivered
  • Overseeing security company and security personnel
  • Resolving HR / IR issues

Requirements:


  • Matric (Technical or other relevant qualification advantageous)
  • Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar environment essential
  • Must reside in the vicinity of Paarl
