Introduction:

A great opportunity has become available with our electrical product manufacturer for a
Production and Warehouse Manager. The role is based between Alberton and Meyerton and the successful incumbent will report directly to the MD.


Minimum requirements:


  • Grade 12, ideally with an applicable postschool qualification (i.e. Production Management)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing production and warehouse processes.
  • Previous ISO 9001 and HR (disciplinary) experience will be beneficial.
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver's license

Main responsibilities:


  • Quality management to ensure factory and warehouse is ISO 9001 compliant
  • All production and warehouse activities including quality management
  • Ensure that stock is counted regularly and correctly
  • Production and warehouse optimization and fault resolution
  • Logistics Coordination including dispatch and goods receiving
  • Ensure that production runs optimally through cooperation with the maintenance department
  • Ensure the production facilities are clean and neat
  • Recruitment and disciplining of factory staff (HR)
