Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a Matric and a bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma (B.Tech) in supply chain management, finance or equivalent.
  • A post graduate qualification would be advantageous.
  • At least two years' working experience in public procurement or supply chain management environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act in so far as it relates to public procurement/ supply chain management (including its regulations), and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (including its regulations), and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act.
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamix 365 (or MS Dynamix 2012) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in demand and planning administration.
  • Procurement compliance and governance administration, including reporting
  • Supplier and logistics administration.
  • Procurement petty cash administration.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders regarding delivery of supplies and keep all parties informed of changes in timely manner
  • Administration of competitive bidding process
  • Administration of procurement records.
