    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business objectives and performance targets for the science product portfolio by developing marketing, product and brand awareness plans to achieve targeted product positioning, life cycle, pricing, promotional and profitability strategies.

    They will develop and execute marketing strategies for assigned products to influence sales and pricing strategies, adopt and develop a marketing plan based on customer segmentation, and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape.

    Other key responsibilities include planning exhibitions and conferences, providing sales teams with product information and competitive insights, reviewing sales performance, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • NQF6 qualification
    • Relevant bachelor's degree
    • Previous commercial experience in haematology and clinical chemistry solutions
    • Expertise in South African private and public IVD industry
    • Pricing models knowledge and skills
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
    • Understanding of public and private reimbursement mechanisms

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in strategy development and new business development
    • Coagulation and chemiluminescence immunoassay solutions experience
