    Product Manager - Animal Health and Nutrition

    A leading company in the development of state-of-the-art technologies for bio-conditioning ingredients, bio-security & hygiene products for feed, livestock, and food seeks a dynamic Product Manager to join their Marketing team.

    The Role

    This role will be responsible for increasing the profitability of existing products and identifying new opportunities in the animal health and nutrition sector, with a focus on monogastric nutrition.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
    • Optimise product launches and growth through continuous improvement.
    • Introduce strategy changes based on performance objectives.
    • Manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
    • Conduct market research and specify market requirements for current and future products in monogastric nutrition.
    • Analyse industry data to highlight trends and optimisation needs for customers in the monogastric sector.
    • Develop go-to-market plans for monogastric nutrition products.
    • Conduct financial analysis using ROI models.
    • Ensure compliance with required OHS and quality standards.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • MSc in Animal Science with a focus on monogastric nutrition.
    • At least 5 years of commercial or account management experience in animal health and monogastric nutrition.
    • Evidenced knowledge of animal nutrition, health, and production of animal nutrition-related products.
    • Understanding of feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes is an advantage.
    • Proven track record in launching animal feed products in the monogastric sector.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and research skills related to monogastric nutrition trends and innovations.
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
