Job Purpose


Provide expertise, advice and support in the specification, development and production of product and pricing strategies, objectives and promotions for product lines.


Minimum Requirements
A broad understanding of the motor and/or the logistics and /or transport industry and legislation relating thereto.


Position Overview:


Specific Role Responsibilities:


GENERIC JOB OUTPUTS

PROCESS
Develop and ensure the execution of marketing plans and initiatives, supporting the marketing strategy and organisational objectives

Manage product launch group meetings with all stakeholders to ensure all key milestones are achieved for new vehicle launches.

Execute monthly product performance reviews with Renault International.

Ensure monthly tracking of product pricing positioning.


Collaborate with product marketing services to effectively introduce products, coordinate advertising, participate in trade shows and other key activities during the life cycle of the product.

Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision-making processes.

Conduct research to identify new opportunities/technologies which could result in better operational processes.

Develop and coordinate market, customer and competitive research and analysis, identifying

trends and needs for inputs to the product design process.

Optimise stock efficiency through correct product planning including but not limited to derivative, colour and lifecycle (including limited editions).

Plan and develop criteria for new products including requirements, specifications, features,

volume, product ecosystem strategy and product lifecycle strategy.

***Provide specialist advice to enable planning for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services.

***Provide specialist advice to identify and develop solutions to improve quality of processes and services.


FINANCE


Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial wastage related to materials or equipment.

***Implement and monitor financial controls, governance and compliance protocols.


CLIENT
Obtain and analyse client and/or service related information to identify practice optimisation

initiatives.

Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers' expectations in the business.

Build sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.


PEOPLE
Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition.


Keep up to date with own area of expertise to develop and maintain own professional knowledge base in order to provide effective support and advice.


Ensure timely, clear contracting and assessment of performance expectations with direct reports in line with identified goals & objectives of the brand.

Provide advice and input with regards to change management initiatives within the area of business.

Qualifications and Experience:


Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor of Commerce: Marketing


Minimum Experience:
  • 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least
  • 5 years' senior specialist experience

Skills and Personal Attributes:

Drivers License

Computer Literacy with advanced power point and excel skills

Motor Industry experience

A broad understanding of the motor and/or the logistics and /or transport industry and legislation relating thereto.

Sound understanding of human resource procedures in the context of legislative and regulatory frameworks.
