A company is seeking a highly professional and experienced Receptionist to work for their corporate company in Cape Town. This is a 6-month contract position, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of extension based on performance.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages and provide basic information to callers
  • Manage the reception area, including keeping it clean and tidy
  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing mails
  • Book meeting rooms and set up conference calls as required
  • Liaise with internal staff members to arrange meetings and appointments
  • Manage and distribute all incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintain and update the company's filing system and database
  • Ensure that office supplies are ordered and maintained
  • Assist with general administrative duties as required

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional and wellgroomed appearance
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and scanners
